The amount of time before your new tint will be totally dry is determined by the amount of sunlight it gets. If it's cloudy and overcast outside, it will take longer, if it's hot and sunny, then the film dries very quickly. This time frame can range from 2 days, up to 1 month.
The amount of time it would take to tint your vehicle depends on the vehicle ... This allows the film to cure and adhere to the glass before the window is moved.
You can expect to pay around $200 to $400 for professional window tinting. Because car window tinting needs time to cure to ensure full.
If windows are rolled down before that time frame the tint often peels off because it has not had enough time to cure. Should this happen we can redo.
Summer might reduce the curing period to two or three days. It's the sun that cures a tint, so you need to adapt to cloudy weather.
Ideally, window tint should be installed during the summer months under sunny weather, since it gives the tint a better chance to dry quickly, or at least in a temperature controlled tint shop. Under these circumstances, it usually takes two to three days to completely cure.
By this time the tint adheres to the glass properly. Rolling the windows of your car down too soon after advanced glass tinting can lead to a number of problems. Be Mindful of the Drying Phase.
Drying time: For the first few days after your windows are tinted they will be cloudy, hazy, and you may see little water pockets forming in the tint. This is normal!
I just got my windows tinted 35% all around yesterday. 2-3 days is more than enough time for them to dry, i got tints done on my previous car.
For goodness sake, do not roll down your windows and avoid opening ... Out here where its 32c all day our tints dry in 2-3 days .... I've never done it, but the tape/fuse has saved me a few times with getting new tint installed.
I was told to wait 3 days before putting the windows down to allow the tint to cure. This also means no top down either.
Your new window film will take 3 to 5 days to dry, sometimes a lot longer ... Until this time your tinted windows may appear hazy or bubbly, this is normal!
