What's the straight dope - is ceramic tint that much better? Is it better at all? Worth an almost 100% premium? I would imagine that ceramic tint would hold out .... Yes it is but I don't know if I'd pay the extra cost if I lived in Illinois.

Before I do I was hoping to get input from others if this tint is worth. Yes I park in the shade anywhere I can find it and still use a front window visor every ... from coming into the car, cost more than normal stuff but worth it.

Is it worth the extra money? I can tell you the ceramic tint make a huge difference in blocking heat. more time to wait, but done right.. he has done my cars, my house, and the school's front windows. windshield done its with ceramic. just did my 4runner windshield 70% ceramic today..costs too damn.

Is the ceramic tint worth the extra $150? I recommend the Formula 1 Pinnacle ceramic tint Mine cost $400, and it was worth it. So if I scratch my tint with my keys, or dirt in the window tracks scratch it, they will retint.
